Useless C-surance

I have C-surance on my Cell C contact phone, about three week ago on a rainy day unfortunately my phone fell into a slash of water. I then immediately phone Cell C store whom informed me to bring the phone so that they can send it off the the repair center. Last week i was notified my phone is up for collection, i went this past Saturday and the consultant at the Store informed me that the insurance can't repair/replace my phone. I feel very upset because as per discussion telephonically with C-surance consultant i was paying to cover all damage. I'm cancelling my insurance asap because its has no benefit for me. In future C-surance must give better understanding info regarding their products/insurances and not misleading clients just to get money......they useless. I'm also now paying 24 months for a contract that i can even use.
