useless bunch of customer service consultants
They stole my phone on Sunday 29/07, i went to Newmarket Mall branch to try and do sims wop, the lady by the name Mpilo told me they don't want drivers licence as proof of identity, I must my ID copy, she tells me to call call centre and do sim swop with them, she doesnt tell me to buy a sim card. I call call centre I am told I need a sim card to do that. I sent someone again to Newmarket to buy a sim card, the same lady gives a sim card for R1.00 and she doesn't check it, I call the centre with Rica number ********** 9011 and speak to Sabathile who held on the phone for 10 minutes without helping and phone again and got hold of Keleko who told me the sim is for Warehouse this Mpilo should have checked it. I decided to go to another branch myself yesterday to Alberton CITY with my ID, they want a proof of address which Mpilo never told me about on Sunday, I decided to buy another sim and asked Palesa to check before I leave, i got home and call the customer service at 19:25 and golt of Bongani who checked my details and took my Rica number ********** 57722 and told me that everything is done and sim swop is done and it is just that he is of line and he will send me the ref thru my other line ********** 360 and till now nothing has been received. I really don't know what to do since CELL C has employed bunch of useless people and i am using petrol and time trying to be helped with just a sim swop, please make sure to employ people who will go extra mile to assist a customer not to wait for their month end salary to clock into their accounts, i am really upset about the whole situation, WHoever cares please assist, i cant call or go to branch and waste more time and petrol - thanks
Good morning Cecelia
We sincerely apologize for the manner in which this matter was handled and for the inconvenience.
When you visit any of our stores to have a SIM swap done, you bring along your ID, proof of residence and if the SIM card is not RICA registered under your name then you must bring an affidavit.
We will get someone to check on your SIM swap process.
