Upgraded! Just to be phoned OOPS we made a mistake

I was eligible for an upgrade. I had a certain phone in mind and and wanted it on the same package I am currently on. What Cell C offered was very expensive. I was then told i must e-mail a deal from another network for the specific phone and Cell C will see if the can match the deal which I did. I was then contacted about a week later and and told Cell C can't exactly match the deal but could offer me 100 free minutes, 100sms's and 100mb of data and an extra 500mb of data for 24 months for an amount above the deal I sent from other network. I then accepted the deal gave the OTP number that was sent to me to accept the deal. Even though I had to pay an amount above what I wanted to pay I still accepted quote and the phone that I wanted was mentioned numerous times. Happy that I got the phone that I wanted, got a call few minutes later to say sorry Sir I misunderstood the deal and phone that we offered and sorry it was actually for another phone. I feel by reading me the terms and conditions and by me accepting quote Cell C has to honour deal that was quoted to me. Now I also keep on getting OTP sms's to say your your Cell C contract almost approved. Cell C please clarify.
