Unsatisfactory Service and delay in Account Resolution

I signed a contract on the 24/12 with Cell C Sasolburg for a cell phone for R199pm (Huawei P8 lite _ and data for R99pm but was advised by the store consult to phone the contact centre to put a limit, which was done immediately after leaving the store to add R50 on the data sim and once finished, it must be locked until the following month. I even confirmed if it will be done, the agent whom helped me on the phone, confirmed that the limit will be activated as per my request.

I'm January, R346.77 was deducted from my my account and February R709 was deducted. I then queried why I was doubled deducted, I was told an investigation would be done (ref ********** ********** 77). Within a week or so, I got a call from contact centre, Octavia (8/3/16), that they listened to the voice recoding of the 24/12/2015 and confirmed that I had indeed called in a placard a limit on my phone but it wasn't activated as per my instructions. The lady by the name of apologized and promised that the mistake will be fixed.

On the 10/3, I spoke to Tebogo Morolong and he even sent me a message to confirm that I had a credit of R1 925.55 for Jan and Feb and that it would reduce an amount of R1 926.38 which I was charged for March.

On the 1st of April I spoke to Zandile in the morning when I complained that I'm still getting billed and promised to call me back and never did. In the afternoon, I called again and spoke to Lebo (ref ********** 871) who apologized profusely after the errors made as I wanted to speak to a senior personnel due to numerous calls already made and problem identified but no corrections made in my data account. He said he'll escalate my query.

On the 7/4/16 I had received an sms stating that my account was in arrears of R1 926 and on the 8/4/16 Sijabulile called and confirmed billing error and said she'll escalate my query too. The same day, I went to the store where I had signed my contract for them to provide assistance as I was not getting joy in getting a resolution with my query. The lady at the store counter gave me a number 084 143 opt 2 as I wanted to cancel the data contract as I stopped using the device in February after being double debited, and escalations were being by Cell C agents.

I spoke to an agent by name of Ntiyiso, after explaining my issue with the account, who gave me an amount of R457. 50 to cancel the data account. He told once the money reflects on their account, then cancellation will be made. I made the transfer +_ an hour later into the company's account.

11/5 and 13/5, I got SMS's stating that my account was in arrears for R 1 968 and threat made that I will be shown as a slow payer at the credit bureau Ann's that charges of R70 will be added into the account for settlement (SMS received 13/5 & 7/4). I made it clear when I called the agents that the company, Cell C their actions were against the law was I wasn't liable for payments charged even after they confirmed ( listening to recordings) that the agent I had spoken to to in December has not activated my request. Therefore, the company has bridged my contract with them as I never signed for the amounts they had debited in my account, which had led to me revising these amounts monthly and only paying for the cell phone contract.

Additionally during the period of 30/4 and 31/5 and additional R 298.01 was deducted from my accounts for data. I only found out that Ntiyiso whom I called on the 8/4, never cancelled my account as per my telephonic discussion with him.

I had been sent from pillar to post ever time I called the Cell C contact centre and on the 31/5, I spoke to Henry from the cancellation department and confirmed that the last person Bihar spoken to didn't update information about my account on the system.

I have made direct payments to Cell C for my cell phone account and instructed my bank to stop payments from your company. I also sent your account department to stop a tracker linked to my account, that I will pay directly ( I was refused telepathically to change my terms of payment for the account _ I wanted to cancel debit order with Cell C), and my request is still not completed, which I'm not surprised because another debit order went through. Recently I found out that after everything, Cell C went from debiting R267.01 ****il June) and when I blocked payments at my bank for that amount plus the R99.01 ( which was supposed to be my monthly subscription but it was device was paid off in April) they *******ly changed the debit order still using Ref data number but debiting R298.01. The company has disregarded the fact that with all their actions, they are *******ly transacting in my account with my permission, as it's not what I signed up for, contract signed in December is my proof.

Cell C had caused me so much heartache for the last 6 months and no one is willing to assist me to finalise this matter. I have even sent an email to complain in ICASA but they told me the matter is outside their jurisdiction. I'm waiting for my credit report and hope my record is not *****ed in any way, as I am a good payer and ensure my monthly obligations are met hideously and Cell C is trying to tarnish that.

I need someone to urgently assist me in finalising my query.
