Unprofessional call center | Forcing clients to remain

Since 2015 I was on a smart chart 100 with Cell C for which I was debited a monthly R120.

I did not get a handset from Cell C. This was only for minutes.

Since begininning of 2017, I have been trying to move the number to prepaid as I wanted to port to another network.

Cell C gave me such a run around. It`s as if they wanted to force me to remain a Cell C client.

On the 4th of February 2017 I gave notice to Cell C that I wanted my number to go to prepaid. I was told that the number will go on prepaid on 31 of March 2017.Sadly come March 31st the number didn`t go to prepaid!

I went to the Cell C store @ the Grove mall and the staff members shared my frustration. They all pointed fingures at the call center.

The number finally migrated to prepaid on the 30th of April. I received an SMS from Cell C confirming this. I was able to port to Telkom on 01 May 2017.

Strangely on 02 May 2017, Telkom debited my bank acount of R120! This makes no sense. How does Cell C plan to load minutes on a number that`s not on their network???

I have called their call center who were also baffled. They gave me a case reference ********** 755
