Undeclared fees to port number

I agreed to take another contact with cell c on condition that I could keep my existing number which the agent agreed upon.However after further enquiry because it was not done ,I was told that i would have to pay an additional fee of R250 (just to keep the same number with the same service provider) which I was not once told about .
