Unbelievable bad support

Good Day,

I am extremely unhappy with CellC, unbelievable bad support costing me a lot of money.
I will first go through the emails I have written to support:

On 27th Sept phoned and cancel contracts I have been told that the as from 27th Oct the contract will be on prepaid. I then asked for cancellation of the debit orders as I will pay via EFT because there will be no funds available in the bank account.

On 5th Oct I wrote a letter asking again to cancel my debit orders as there will be no funds available in the bank account.

On 8th Oct receive email from CellC incident 161 ********** 99 letting me know that a conssultant will contact me.

On 10th Oct receive email Ref ********** 083 letting me know that my request has been escalated to Retensions Department who will contact me in two business days. Nobody contacted me as I wanted to explain that I am not employed, am a pensioner and I was not able to close the bank account because there is atill a loan to be paid.

On the 16 Oct all debitorders was presented to the bank and rejected.

On the 21st Oct re incident 161 ********** 22 addressed to Simanga Pretty Ncube but advising me that a consultant will contact me within 24-48 hours . Nobody did.

On the 21st Oct again incident 161 ********** 22 addressed to Simanga Pretty Ncube but repeating my letter and advising that query has been forwarded to Retentions department, who will contact me within 2 business days. Again nobody did.

On the 23rd Nov receive letter re incident 161 ********** 34 advising that my request for cancelling has been forwarded to Retentions department, who will contact me within 2 business days. Again nobody did.

On the 7th Dec I again wrote asking NOT to present the debit order.

On 10th Dec receive this message ; Your query has been forwarded to our Retentions Department, who will contact you within 2 business days. Nobody did.

And then. as usual. my request has been ignored and the debit order presented and rejected on the 16th Dec. !

The cost statement from the bank shows an amount of R1144 to date !

I have all the emails and bank statements on file should you require them.

Despite this utter bad service, I still paid all the accounts via EFT as promised, except for this last debit of R268.

I am not prepared to pay this amount and my service has been terminated. I would like Cell C to give me credit for the last amount, activate my service and let me continue on a prepaid basis.

Support told me that the only way they can cancel the debit order is by me showing that I am unemployed or that I have closed the relevant bank account.
I explained to them that I am a pensioner and that I can not close the bank account because there is still a loan to be paid.

I am very curious to know what reasoning is being followed if you know there is NO FUNDS in a bank account and that there will be costs involved and knowing for sure that the debit order will be rejected you still present the debit order. Unbelievable !

I will appreciate it if you can get CellC to explain this reasoning because I tried but to no avail.

Christiaan van den Heever
ID: ********** 018086
Cell : ********** 244
