Unacceptable service from Cell C

I am extremely frustrated by the Cell C services of late. Today I wanted to gift my mother a Whatsapp bundle of R29 which I have done almost every month for the past 3 years. All of a sudden, it tells me that I don't have enough data. I have 10G's of data ... what the hell!!!!! So I phone the Customer Care line, not once, but 4 times. The first one tells me that I cannot do it unless I have a Hybrid phone ... I ask what that means and he cannot tell me. I have the latest Samsung, so should be able to do it. Then he tells me to do the following: dial *147# and choose option 7. There isn't even an option 7!!!! Then I get through to the second consultant a few minutes later ... she tells me that I don't have enough data. I explain to her that I have 10G's of data and want to send a Whatsapp bundle, and what has that got to do with my data! She again tells me that I don't have enough data!!!!! She then tells me to phone from another phone so that she can assist me. When I phone again, I get through to the third consultant ... I explain that I am frustrated and hope that I don't end up screaming at her because I am so frustrated. And what does she do .... put me on hold. I again phone, this time the 4th time around from a different handset. I explain to him what has happened and suggest that we do it together. He does not have the same options that I have on my phone, so directs me another way. It gives me the same result as it has the previous 3 times. He then tells me that he will escalate the problem. I have been promised that a problem has been escalated twice before, to no avail. I explain that this is unacceptable ... and guess what, he puts the phone down. I eventually ended up going to a shop and purchasing the Whatsapp bundle. What is happening, Cell C??? Your staff at Customer Care clearly do not have the necessary training needed to assist customers. My next contract will definitely not be with Cell C. I would love some feedback as well as the recordings that I have requested too.
