Unable to Access 086 numbers

I have recently had much frustration with trying to dial out on numbers beginning with 086. The line is always blocked to dial out. Which is rather frustrating as a lot of businesses in South Africa now only use 086 numbers.

When I phoned the call centre I get told I need to add airtime which I do. But the frustrating part is now that I cannot add a recurring bundle to my account so that I always have airtime available to access these numbers. I have to call in on a monthly basis to load airtime.

The phone is question is actually my wife's phone. So should I forget to contact Cell C on the 1st of the month as I wake up and load airtime then she could be stranded as she cannot get hold of emergency services like the AA.

Is there no way that we can simplify this and make things more user friendly?
