*****ulent Contracts at Cell C during cancellations

On the 23rd of June 2023 at 12:22 p.m., I called cell C to cancel my contract at the end of its term. I received a confirmation that the contract would end on 23 July 2023, and my last debit order of R279 would go out on the 31st of July 2023. And so it was as indicated on the banking statement. I was asked if I would like to keep the number as a prepaid, I said yes, and I am glad this information is recorded.

All good and well, however when I received my credit report statement, it showed that Cell C did a hard search on me on 26 July 2023, that didn't bother me much because I kept being hounded by cell c and telling them the same thing, that I DO NOT want another contract as it is just a fruitless expenditure for me. You can check all my statements throughout the 2yr contract that this phone was barely used.

However on 25 August 2023 I received a call from a cell c agent who wanted to add benefits to my contract, which I indicated that I did not have but he was so smug and telling me if I didn't wanna be helped it would be up to me because the number *******9757 has been upgraded. I dropped the call, checked the app and called cell C myself and spoke to several agents including Ngoakoana, who indicated on record that the contract was successfully terminated on 23/07/2023. But the contract was re-activated.

Transferred me to the cancellation department where I spoke to Mathapelo, who claimed I failed my security questions, which is very funny because the person being victimised cannot get through, but the people I trusted with my data decided to ignore the POPI Act and used my data however way they pleased. I asked that she should send me an email, she refused and then sent me an sms with a reference number, which was N/A when I queried it.

Then I called Ketso, who indicated that the contract ended on 9 July 2023 and was upgraded on 13 July 2023 by Lerato Molefe. I need proof that Lerato spoke to me & I agreed to an upgrade. I refuse to be Lerato Molefe's sales quota. She upgraded it to an S23 Ultra, when I asked where it was delivered, he could not confirm where it was delivered. Then he said the back office would contact me in 24 to 48 hrs, then later changed the story that the upgrade was cancelled. Then he said he would send it for late cancellation, which I refused because I cancelled in time on 23 July 2023. He sent me a reference number which I followed up for days on end to my frustration. Then come month end cell c debited me R644,15 which I reversed and blocked as I do not have any contract with cell c.

Cell C has abused me, financially, emotionally and otherwise, wasting my work time running around going to branches and police stations due to their failure to vet their ******** employees, who would do anything to close a sale, *****ulent or not. They asked me to go to police stations to do an affidavit, sent a bank statement and my ID to their ***** department, and this is after I went to a branch in Menlyn. All of this still did not help because now, from June to end of September I am still sitting at the same position.

I later checked on the APP and there was another number linked to my account, downloaded the statement to see the numbers called by this number and I know none of them. Cell C can start there with their investigations, and also they are a mobile service provider, they are able to track where the phone is via the IMEI number but NOOOO, they would rather abuse and harass me who has been loyal to them for over a decade because it's all about the bottom line for you.

On 11 September they said after everything I have done, I must send an email to their Investigation manager Marinus Giani, he also has ignored my emails to date, and this has affected my credit score because apparently I have missed a payment. To Cell C, Please do your job and delink me from any of your contracts, l am beyond angry.
