I am Willem Albertus de Meyer. I have a pre-paid account with mobile number ***. I had the number for about one year. I did a Sim swap during the last quarter of 2022 after my phone was ****** and recovered. I bought a starter pack and phoned customer care.

This number was registered on all my banking Apps as well as on my business and private email accounts.

In April 2023 I resigned from my previous employer for reasons. If not wishing to work without being paid for services. At the time I resigned my mobile phone A Redmi 9A got lost or was taken by someone. The phone was switched off. About 10 days later my sim card for *** was found and I inserted it into my finances Huawei phone. WhatsApp Business was loaded and registered to that number. I loaded that particular WhatsApp onto my Laptop to enable me to communicate with my clients, as I reinstated my business during my resignation.

During this time I was forced to reload WhatsApp on numerous occasions. This was strange to me as my Laptop is never switched off and is always online.

On 19 April 2022, the very same thing happened and when the sim card was placed in my fiance’s phone I received a message that my number was suspended.

This came to me as a tremendous shock, as all my clients had that number, all my business documents and contracts contained that number, all banners pamphlets 20 000 to be exact, contacts, and receipts. Books and various other documents and literature were already printed and paid. My bank accounts in contact service was linked to that number and all my email verification was synced to that number.

I regularly found emails sent to me were either read or deleted, which I did not do. My former boss knew everything that I was doing, on numerous. Jobs where I quoted he went in slightly less than what I quoted. This even happened with clients he did not know or neet before I submitted my quotes.

I was threatened by him that he will make sure that I do not do business in Kraaifontein and areas close. I was even assaulted by him not too long ago, because of work I have done, which he was bad after.

In this week an informer came to me and said to me that it was my ex-boss who had Access to my sim card and had blocked it. I mean he had all my records on file, even a certified copy of my ID. I had a casual confrontation with my former boss and he boasts that he has got control of my number. He further showed me an email that I sent to a client.

I am most definitely going to open a ******** case of ***** against him as well as a civil lawsuit against him as the first Respondent and will consider adding Cell C as the second respondent, as I did not give permission to any person to block my mobile number.

My request to Cell C now is to without delay forward me a copy of the voice recording of the person who phoned in to suspend my number. I also need a copy of all documentation used to perform this, if any and I would like to have the phone number from where the call was made.

I need this number reinstated without delay, otherwise, legal action will be taken against Cell C.

I am also going to report the matter to HELLO PETER if I don't get swift results.

I have attached a certified copy of my ID as well as a copy of my business registration document to this email for verification purposes.
