Typical poor sales culture
It's typical South African sales culture. Once they have your money, you're nothing to them. I've probably made enough phone calls to rival a small call center. Every time it's the same story, "Someone will call you back". Knowing very well that no one is going to call me back. I'm sick of this!
My order was placed on 18/09/2018. The sales agent says that I can simply mail him if I need an update, or give a call. The sales rep (Ignatius) has not called me back once, and until today, has not rep**** to my email. I was then told to call Vumatel to inquire regarding the installation. Vumatel then informs me that I must deal directly with my ISP (CELL C). The same old run-around nonsense. One would have thought that CELL C would know this. After taking my advise to deal with Vumatel themselves, I get informed that a random person has placed, and cancelled an order on my address. So there is only two logical explanation. Either Cell C doesn't know what they are doing, or they are absolutely lying to me regarding the process. The sad part is that if I want any feedback, regarding the installation, I must follow up with CELL C. Remember, they already have my money. I'm no longer important to these cheap sales departments. My Money is fine! Your service is the problem!
Best advice guys. Don't pay them until the job is done. Don't sign papers, don't pay the deposit, don't do anything until you have your internet up and running 100% first. They will simply promise you ANYTHING, anything to get the sales with little to no regard for you.
