Typical Cell C

<p>I called Cell C to cancel my contract a few weeks ago. I was told that I could make it effective immediately. I chose not to do it as I still needed the phone for a few more days. I now called other assistants who now claim I have to supply a month’s notice. I am on a month-to-month for the last 2 years. I wanted to take a contract that is under a limited time offer with another network that I will now lose out on due to the inconsistent information Cell C supplies at a cost of several k. Of course now they care even less as I won’t be staying with them. Just reaffirms my decision to leave the network. I am leaving because of horrible reception and pathetic customer service. I called once for a cell fault. My phone was supposed to be fetched and repaired, even had a reference number. I am still waiting for the person to fetch and repair it 2 years later. Eventually fixed it at my own very expensive cost even though under warranty at the time. Typical Cell C, says whatever it needs and ensures great service when signing on but everything thereafter is a mess. Of course you locked in so it is too late after that. Will be surprised if they even bother to respond to this. Just because your offerings are cheaper (you get what you pay for though), doesn't mean we not entitled to decent customer service. </p>
