Truly the worse network in Africa

Toward the early part of last year I ported my number from MTN to Cell C. This appears to be the biggest mistake I have ever made. In the 8 months I have lost (never received) 80% of my calls, severely delayed texts (some advising of calls I missed 3 days prior). If I log into my Internet back I'm lucky if I can get an instant verification text so now I find myself going into banks personally for payments etc. The network spends most of the time on data roaming resulting in exorbitant charges at time.
I have now purchased a Vodacom sim and forward all my calls, I can atleast now make and receive calls again, albeit at an additional cost, but atleast there's service everywhere.

Being on this network has truly been an inconvenience to my life, job and bank balance. When I contacted the call centre 2 months ago, I was advised that there were many ppl on the network and quality of service is compromised at times. I wish I wad told that b4 I signed up and to cancel my contract will cost R6500.

If I cancel I lose money, if I stay I lose a livelihood, money and contact with the world.
