Transfer of Ownership taking more than a month.

On the 24th of September I attempted to do a transfer of ownership (of a contract) as the cellphone I am currently using is on my Father's name. I visited the Cell C shop in the Grove and a very friendly and helpful lady, Truacia, helped us. Since then she has sent me updates and requested that I send her more documents, which I did. It has been a month now and the change of ownership has still not been completed. I am currently residing in another province than my Father which makes it extremely difficult to follow-up on this matter and is exactly why we requested the transfer of ownership in the first place. I am starting to consider cancelling the contract and starting a new contract with another company.
