I had a fibre line with Cell C which i have cancelled, upon cancellation i was told that i was paying my account in arrears when i was certain i paid upfrot however my account was handed over to SHapiro debt collectors, the most ineffective collectors in the history of debt collection.

I paid my account money that i still feel i did not owe them R1019, i tried sending POP to the collecting agent SHAPIRO their mailbox returned as full. I called the offices i was promised that my credit record would be cleared in 20 days this was in June 2024, however to date the account is not cleared and I'm suffering the consequences of ever trusting Cell C. When i call Cell C directly they say they cannot help me as my account is handed over yet they last updated my credit record in August saying i did not pay an account i have long paid. This is clearly violating my rights, not sure if Cell C is aware that this matter can end up in court and they will incur the cost of the suffering their false update is causing.

CELL C FIX THIS I AM REALLY TIRED OF YOUR INCOMPETENCIES.
