Bought a cell phone for my 90 year old mother. My wife registered the phone and sim in her name as my mother is in frail care. The phone is for emergencies. The phone stopped working after 3 days, only displaying "emergency calls". I phoned cell-c for support. they refuse to help. I told them the phone is registered in my wife's name and she can talk to them. They arrogantly refuse to help, saying they want to talk to the person using the phone they don't give a **** in who's name the phone and sim is registered. (90 year old woman in frail care that cannot speak english). We cannot use the phone and it still have R89 on the sim. Cell c has now ****** R89 from a 90 year old woman. This looks like ****** to me.
