The worst Customer Experience I have ever Had :(

So in December 2017 I made payment for my Cell C Account via Easy Pay at Pick 'n Pay. Forward to February 2018 and I'm interested in upgrading one of my contracts. I call in and I'm speaking to a salesperson letting them know of my intention. We go through the steps and I am told that I cannot upgrade because payment for December 2017 came back as unpaid. Now I'm very confused as to what she means as I know I made payment in December and emailed proof of payment to ********** I am told that the Billing department has to sort it out and with some more back and forth between myself and the salesperson I end the call. After the call I find the email which was sent just to make sure I didn't mess up somehow but everything is fine on my side. I call back and speak to another person at Customer Care and explain to them whats happening. They cannot give me a straight answer. I get transferred to someone else and all they can give me is the promise of escalating my problem.

I made payment on the 21st of December . Email proof of payment the same day I am told the debit order came back unpaid on the 27th of December How is it that payment didn't show on CellC's side even after 6 days??? I have made payment before in September on a weekend and it reflected fine the Monday after. Now because of some error no one can explain I am being treated unfairly and it makes me feel absolutely horrible that I am getting this level of disgusting service, given the run around, when no one can correct it as I wanted to upgrade

I was not given a call or message or email. Nothing of the sort showed up in my statements following December. No one can give me a straight answer!!!

I am so disappointed I will not be upgrading with CellC and I will be cancelling my contracts with them as well.
