Terrible Service at Cell C Westwood branch

I would like to share my beyond terrible experience with you! So, firstly, my contract sim card stopped working and was inactive for more than 60 days so I was advised to go to a Cell C store near me to get the sim swap done. So today 13/11/2021, I went to Cell C Westwood Mall to do contract sim swop. I was told that I needed my ID and proof of address. I was told it will be done when I am at the store. I first had a consult with a lady named Vanessa who told me that I needed any proof of address and I could even go get it printed downstairs. I asked why a person who has been with cell for over 10 years and has 2 contracts with Cell C has to provide proof of address when we provide all of that at inception of our contract and I have already provided it twice. I was told that she needed it as it was store policy. I went to FOSCHINI and printed out a statement because when I went to the standard bank atm there are no autoplus machines to print a bank statement. I went back to the the store and was the only client that was there and a gentleman by the name of Sihle told me that Vanessa was gone to lunch. He was looking at my proof of address when I black lady walked in. He then told me he will help me just now. He took more than 15minutes assisting someone who came after me which I felt was unfair and then called me only to tell me he can't help me by accepting my proof of address. All this time there was another Indian lady who sat idly and played with her phone, did not bother to assist me but assisted the person after me. Between the 2 of them they wasted alot of my precious time. Then she even had the nerve to ask if the Sim card I had with me was theirs. That infuriated me even more. Then she says we dont accept drivers license was really just adding to their incompetence because I gave them my ID. I walked out of that store shocked at the terrible service and all had terrible attitude is an understatement! There was no customer service values presented by any of them! They told me that they cannot assist me & refused to do my sim swop but when I went to the Pavilion store and related my experience, I was told I did not need the proof of address as I was doing a contract sim swap abd was happily assisted by Nuri and her manager there who seemed shocked by what I told them. She even phoned the store and spoke to Vanessa and asked her whether the customer was asked for proof of address and why was that needed if it was a contract sim swap. I would not recommend the Cell C Westwood store at all. Go to another branch like Pavillion where the staff were friendly, competent and efficient. I see there are many reviews about this branch and maybe something needs to be done because I don't want you to ruin someone else's day and waste their time as well.
