TAKING FOREVER TO RESOLVE A QUERY

A Cellphone contract was taken out in my name **********ly. i do not know the person and they couldn't give me the person's details. i get a call from RCS (Debt Collectors) on 09 March 2016 stating i should pay nearly R14 000 To Cell C. I am not aware of this contract and i do not have any contract with Cell C.<br> <br> I was advised to go the police station to get an affidavit (which i did on the same day) i sent them all the documents and went the store on the same day. They couldn't help me and advised that i should liaise with the ***** Department.<br> <br> I have to go every week asking the status, they have never called me, only RCS demanding i pay the money. i constantly have to call them and this issue is still not resolved. i am now blacklisted over something that i do not even own. Granted, its not their fault but they should at least ensure that this is resolved timeously. <br> <br> <br> This has affected my life tremendously as i cannot apply for something as simple as a cell contract or a car.<br> <br> Hope this will be resolved soon<br>
