Suspicious

I have been receiving some sales calls from Cell C over the last few days, yesterday I received an SMS stating my application was unsuccessful, I did not apply for anything.I received another call this morning from Cell C where i asked the caller about the SMS she asked if I had app**** I said no she hung up.A few concerns for me is obviously breach of the POPI Act in regard to my information being used to apply for something I did not consent to and lastly the negative foot print this may leave on my credit rating, The no I received the call from was ***4 I would appreciate if Cell C investigates this and provides me with feedback
