Suck C
I have a 2 year Contract with cell C. Last week I was notified that cell c will migrate my contract which is only 1 year old to another plan. The new plan will reduce talk minutes with 400 minutes and completely remove 1000 wifi calling minutes. I do not have a choice in this matter. When I want to change to a plan that suits my needs Cell C will charge me migrating fees. I can not take device only option as this will be me bridging contract. How is this possible??? How can cell c change when they please and I must just conform. No wonder the company is going down hill. Horrible!!!!

Cell C will be simplifying its product portfolio and as a result a number of old plans will be discontinued. These plans will no longer be available for customers to buy or renew and all customers currently on any of the affected plans will be migrated to one of the newer packages in our product range. Customers will pay similar amounts and receive similar, and in some cases better, benefits to their current plan and any value-added services will be migrated to the new plans.
Cell C continues to look for ways to provide the best possible value to our customers.

03 Oct 2019, 15:24Typical PR garbage..."similar or better"...yeah right. I lose 360 minutes airtime and 1000 min wifi calling...similar I don't think so. Cell C just decides to change a contract half way through and customers must just accept. Whats the point of a contract...oh wait it is to protect companies and not consumers right? We were not even offered an option to end the contract and we have to pay for migration because Cell C just felt like ending their offering...smells fishy...
