Struggling since 2023 to get my Cell c contract Canceled AFTER receiving a cancelation SMS.

Whatever you do, NEVER EVER take out a Cell C contract! It wil ruin your life! I struggled to get my contract canceled for 2 months after the contract ended. I phoned again and said I will stay on the line until I received a sms to state that the contract wil be ended. I received a sms to say my contract will be canceled on the 31st of September 2023. TELL ME WHY cell c only canceled my contract in May of 2024????? This negatively affects my credit score. I don't know what to do, can someone please give me advice on what to do. I am deeply disgusted by Cell C's incompetence to resolve a issue. Please do better. This is really terribly poor service.
