STOP *********** PEOPLE - LIFE IS HARD AS IT IS

I was phoned an offered a mobile device which I thought OK, I will accept. Upon me receiving the device, I changed my mind and made calls to Cell C advising that I am no longer interested in the device and that same can be collected. This being done within 7 days of delivery of the device. Device was eventually collected in April 2022. Today I received an invoice that I am indebted to Cell C for R5,853.42, of which the amount of R 4,979.47 is a cancellation fee. Have you ever heard of such ridiculousness. I have made numerous contact with CELL C and they always going on about how their calls are recorded for quality purposes - YET they want to rip people off.
