****** cell phone number

really don't understand how a cellular network can allow for someone's number to be ported out of the network without the owners concern. Last night I received SMS from MTN advising me that my number will be ported to MTN. It was about 17:45 when I tried to call Cell C to stop the port but they adviced me that it was approved and there's nothing they can do about it, I should call the MTN port department to stop it from happening. I couldn't get a hold of MTN cause their port department had already been closed, since it was after 17:00 when I tried calling them.

I'm really sad and broken cause the cell phone number being ported is used for many things like my cell phone banking, receiving calls from potential employers.

Because of such my information has been compromised, Banking and all other information that I receive via the number.

Please help. I need my number back.
