Stay away from cell c

3 weeks ago I walked into a cell c shop to take up their buyout offer. I agreed to a pinnacle 3 contract at 1400 per month which looks like a good deal for the unlimited minutes and 10GB of data. I was told that I would receive a card with 10 000 on it to buy me out of my Vodacom contract. All sounds great right? I though so, so I signed up. My phone was handed over to me and a card. I was told that the number porting would take place within 48 hours and the buyout card would be active the moment the port goes through. My number ported 6 hours later and I was then a locked in subscriber. Now, weeks later, my buyout card is still not active. The store refers me to customer service and customer service refers me to the store. It is a nightmare. I now have 2 massive contracts on my name and the new month has started. Nobody from Cell c is bothering to even speak to me. Cell is the worst network to join. Please don't get caught out by these ********** the way I have.
