Special numbers 086

Cell C's service is disappointingly inadequate. Despite being on a contract with them, when my regular minutes were depleted, I resorted to using the Cell C app to purchase additional minutes for calls to any network. However, upon trying to make a call to an 086 number, I was surprised to learn that the minutes I purchased did not cover special numbers. When I reached out to Cell C for clarification, they explained that the minutes for any network I bought did not include calls to special numbers.

My concern is why Cell C fails to notify customers on the app about such exclusions when purchasing minutes. It's essential for customers to be informed upfront to avoid inconveniences, especially when attempting to contact essential services like a bank, which often requires calling an 086 number.
