<p>Recently, I did an upgrade with Cell C. The device was delivered in record time (credit where it's due). And I saw fit to praise on social media.</p> <p>However, I have been calling over and over enquiring about my sim swap. They promise 2 working days (lol). </p> <p> </p> <p>The term of the data contract is about to expire and be replaced with a "top up" contract. Am I going to lose this data because Cell C doesn't know how to sim swap? I have been calling tirelessly on my Telkom phone, costing me money. </p> <p> </p> <p>So, I lose 500mb from Cell C, my minutes from my Telkom contract, plus oob minutes and I'm sitting with a beautiful brand shiny new phone that can play videos, take photos but not actually phone or surf.</p> <p> </p> <p>Had I known this, I wouldn't have renewed.</p>
