So called incomplete IMEI no delaying backlisting process.

<p>I am so disgruntled it is not funny, at the prospect of having to beg a network operator to have my E71 Nokia blacklisted. Initially, it was received as an upgrade handset in 2010 or 2011 from Cell. When I did another upgrade, I used the handset with a Virgin Mobile sim card, and subsequently the handset was lost.</p> <p> </p> <p>As it is the norm, I engaged Virgin mobile and requested a blacklisting process to take place. They advised me that the IMEI NO ********** ********** was one digit short and could not be blacklisted and I was told to revert back to Cell C, and they in turn that tells me the same thing !!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I went to Campus Square Cell C, engaged a very helpful staffer, Lesego, who escalated the blacklisting form to their blacklisting dept. and the response is still the same and it was only in following it up that I was told that a box is needed ? What do they exactly take me for?</p> <p> </p> <p>Whose ****ing mishap was that? Did I manufacture the handset No! The only mishap here was that I received the handset IN A BOX WITH A MISSING IMEI NO and now I am requested to produce a box! What a cheek! Who in their right minds can produce a box after such a long time? Can I have this blacklisted please!</p> <p> </p> <p>How I don’t know as the mishap was and it is still mine. What if the phone gets used in some dubious activated without me blacklisting it?</p> <p> </p> <p>Can my time be respected………</p>
