Sim Swap? More like forget your number

My girlfriend ported to cell c last year, lost her Sim card when she landed in Saudi Arabia 5 months ago, when she gets back she gets told she can't get a new Sim card because the numbers she frequently dials are incorrect. This is the cell c store in the airport. In the age where people rely mostly on data and whatsapp calls this is pathetic. Honestly how is that even a requirement when everything else matches with the Sim card owners identity. This service is awful now we have to get all her details changed especially because it's the number she banks with. Thanks for nothing cell c. I hope this hastens your exit as a MSP

The issue here is that this outdated system fails even when given the correct numbers dialed. The number has not been in use while she's away. The balance on the Sim card shown to the consultant but you still make it so difficult for even the owner of the Sim to get her number back after she's been out of the country for 5 months

Again you claim this is a ***** prevention method, explain how, When we mostly use data for calls, And when it still fails after being given the 5 most frequently dialed numbers?
