Sim swap challenges

<p>I have a problem with doing a Sim swap. I was hijacked on the 9th of December last year. My phone with my cell c contract sim card were taken on the scene. From that time i was struggling to pay my cell c contract because i was recovering from my loss of assets. I tried to do a sim swap since this number is known by a lot of people and i was told to wait till my account is upto date, and now since my payments are upto date i wanted to go back to my number since i'm paying for it and need to use it, i was told that i can't be helped on the phone since i spent more than 2 months not using the number, i should go to a Cell c store. i went to a store and they told me that to go back to using the number that i'm paying for every month as a contract in have to pay around R160 which i don't understand why must it be so difficult to open my line to use. If this number will be useless to me and Cell c does not want to open it for me to use, why do they still debit money from my account? i don't have a problem of paying but i have to benefit from what i'm paying for. I am really not happy with what Cell c is doing to me. i stay in Meyerton, there's no Cell c, i have to travel to go to a place were there's a Cell C store. Somehow i have to be helped on the phone. Can someone please help me be able to use this sim card or i should just be told if i wont be able to use it anymore then i'll forget about and move on and cancel the debit order.
