SIm Swap a nightmare
Since late 2014 I have been using Cell C for my personal and to conduct my own small side business, I had linked my banking apps and notifications to this one number ever since, last year November i had to perform a swim due to my cellphone being ****** and this transaction went smooth. my phone was ****** on the 14 of April again and this time im having issues proving this number is mine. Its a pity the Sim card was not ricad to my name and its one of the sim cards bought at one of the indian shops and as such, the sim is ricad using the name Stephen Z.. your staff has been highly unhelpful and rude when i called on Thursday 3rd of May . i remember the numbers i called but i cant recall when was the exact date i recharged, can you please find a way of assisting this case as next week its gonna be a month without a phone .

As part of our processes, a security check has to be performed to protect our customers. We have requested one of our consultants to contact you and assist with this matter.
Alternatively, you can visit any of our stores, bring along your ID, proof of residence and have the SIM swap done at the store.

I have visited the store and brought along ID and proof of residence this past Saturday the 5th. the consultant there told me they would have to ask the same security questions again...of which the only part im failing according to my knowledge is the "EXACT" date when I recharged that number,If only you guys can ask more questions or different sets of question or i can provide with proof from my bank that the number is listed on my cellphone banking which will then proof this number was used by me for more a period of at least 4 years
