Sim swap

I'm very upset I'm using cellc for so many years I called customer service because I wanted to do a SIM swap because my phone number got lost how can a person remember how you recharged the last month who was the last person who contact you people can't remember those information

To proceed with your SIM swap request, you will need to purchase a new Cell C SIM card that has not been RICA registered and has not been inserted into any device. These SIM cards are available at Cell C stores and most major retail outlets.

Please inform the store assistant that you require a new, unregistered SIM card specifically for a SIM swap. Once you have the new SIM, kindly send us the following details:

  • The RICA serial number of the new SIM card
  • Your alternative contact number
  • The Cell C number you wish to swap
