Sim swap

I regret porting to this ****y network. I woke up in the morning with a lost connection. I call their client care, they tell me to do a sim swap. When I call them to do a sim swap they tell me I failed to correctly answer their questions. Am I supposed to lose the number I have been using for the past 14 years? I am very disappointed, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
