SIM DEAL WITHDRAWN ALTHOUGH STILL ADVERTISED IN MAGAZINE.

On Friday 26 April 2019, I app**** for Smart Data Share 300GB @ R899.00 sim only deal at Hillcrest Cell C - KZN. I was told to pay an o/s account first. I immediately went to Nedbank and paid directly into Cell C account. I was told that it would take the weekend to up date. On Monday, 29 April 2019, it was confirmed that the money was received and that my application for the R899 sim only deal would be processed. I was told today, after daily enquiries, that the deal for R899 was withdrawn by Cell C on the 3'rd of May. This was confirmed by both 084145 call centre and agent in Cell C Direct Shop in Hillcrest - KZN where I app****. I queried that I had app**** before deal removal of 3 May. Both said they could not help me. My query is why, if I app**** before deal removal, am I not allowed to get the deal? Also, why is the deal printed in the monthly magazine - "Media Play" for 25 April to 31 May 2019 and then withdrawn by Cell C. Surely the company should stand by it's offers as advertised- especially since it is a sim only and not connected to a device where they could run out of stock. It is my opinion that Cell C have no right to do so and I should be offered the deal as advertised and as I had app**** before the deal was withdrawn.
