Sim card blocked

Hey there

I recently experienced a weird thing (sim doesn't register) with the CellC sim card that I have been using for quite some time, as you can imagine everything I use digitally is linked to the number eg. banking etc.

I then respectfully decided to buy a new sim card to do a sim swap at CellC. After 4 frustrating attempts, I achieved nothing but grey hairs. Due to a protocol that requires me to answer the security questions, which I find quite silly and annoying as I cannot recall all the numbers I dialed last and I call so many and they expected me to remember it. I then gave them the option of allowing me to provide with my most dialed numbers, like my wife and family and this is blatantly refused and they then redirect me to the call center who initially referred me to them.

They then have another issue as the sim wasn't registered on my name yet CellC salespersons are issuing them free having already Rica'd it. The agents that issue it should educate people when issuing as now I am struggling to access important information.

Hi Shuaib

Referring to the Rica Legislation, a SIM card should be registered in your name using your ID and proof of address.

We will contact you.

Hey there, you have not read my complaint, read it again and carefully this time.

I received a call and was also unprofessionally assisted, I'm not sure if it was you telling me that I want you to lose your job. Your customers are the reason that you get paid. I demand my number back and will not be repeating what you can read again.

Get your manager to assist if you cannot make that call, I'm losing out on business due to your silly behaviour. Time is money!
