Sim card activation failed for A WEEK and counting

On the 20th June, just before I left for a trip to a rural area, my phone was ******. We phoned Cell C call centre and they cancelled the phone and froze the sim.
Then, when I eventually got back from my trip, I went straight to Cell C Claremont on the 28th June and got a new phone via my due upgrade. We phoned Cell C to give permission for the cell number to be unfrozen. The store told us it would take 24 to 48 hours, and that a consultant from the call centre would contact us. NO such call happened. The sim was not activated. We phoned the call centre around 6 times, where no one could give us a reason why it occurred, until some FINALLY managed to say that the Claremont store had not done the sim activation.
We went back to the store on the 2nd July, whereby we came across the FIRST person who actually knew how to do his job (Shandrey). He phoned and phoned Cell C and logged a case and STILL today, my sim card is not activated.

I have never been so disappointed with a communications company, as I moved to Cell C in the hopes it had the best service. My entire family and I are considering moving to Vodacom, and I have been unable to do vital communication this week.
