Shockingly bad service
i have been waiting since May for a paid up letter , I spoke to the retention team leader Kriyaan Naidoo after 20 phone calls , He sent me an email confirming that the account will be closed, on the 14th of May 2020.
15th of August still no paid up letter, I called him on his personal cell phone and he again confirmed in writing that i would receive the paid up letter.
1 week later and still nothing , I follow up with an email and to no surprise im still waiting. Its has now been 31 days. I have spent 36 minutes on the phone, spoken to 8 different people and i still cant get cellc to get their ducks in a row

25 Sept 2020, 12:16 So i get a hold of the retentions team leader after 20 phone calls, a few days later we get all the recordings and Cellc c admits that they were wrong.
The reteintion's team leader confirms in writing on the 14th of may that my account had expired end of march 2020 .
another email on the 15th of August 2020 that I will get a paid up letter, one week later I still don't receive and follow up with an email.
today the 25th of September 30 days later i have had to call cellc 11 times, spend over 90 minutes on the phone and resort to the level and naming and shaming people on social media in a desperate attempt to get this matter resolved.
So here we are:
Amanda Dubanzane, thank you for not helping
Mpho from customer services, thank you for not doing your job
Nombusoa Dlamini, thank you no one has contact me.
Onge Booi from retentions, your efforts are appreciated but no one has come back to me.
And lastly, Mr Kriyaan Naidoo ( retentions team leader ) , I explained to you on the 15th of August 2020 that I risk losing my deposit and having my home loan being declined because apparently I owe cellc R66. sixty six only.
I reminded you a on the 23rd of August that i had not received the paid up letter.Still nothing
Here we are on the 25 th of september 2020, one month later and I have wasted 4 hours of my life on social media trying to get this resolved.
