Today I visited the Cell C store in Howard Centre, Pinelands to upgrade my handset and contract. I was helped by Najmi. I was told that they needed to do a sim swap as the new phone used a micro sim. I signed the docs for the upgrade and sim swap and paid the upgrade fee. I was given the new handset with the new sim and was told that I could not put the new sim in the new phone until the old sim registered \no signal". She said this would take up to 2 hours.
