Shocking overcharge + service. Tardy in response with a pensioner

CELL C offered a ****le at R448.00 flat rate and after a year offered a second ****le at the same price, in other words R448.00 for both. It worked for about 4 months then we started receiving massive bills of over R3000 and more and in a very short time they owed us R24 101.42 in refunds. For 4 and 1/2 years they gave us a run around, and gave us small credits here and there, but were not addressing the elephant in the room which was the massive overcharge. The said it was calls made on the two numbers, but you can't phone on a ****le, data line and by the time the massive overcharges started happening we had cancelled the two lines and CELL C had allocated them to a third party.

We dealt with 11 different people and just when we received an understanding that person would leave and we had to go back to square one every time. 4 and 1/2 years later thousands of rands in phone calls, faxes and emails, we managed to evenbtually get the refunds sorted, but they have not paid for the communication costs and or inconvenience of 4 and 1/2 years of heartache and frustration and let me remind you all we are pensioners - we could not afford any of this nonsense.

They refused to take calls, one person after another and would leave my call ringing and ringing till it cut off because they did not want to deal with the problem, then eventually said it had been escalated - but refuse to say to whom and when they will pay. Is this going to be another 4 years???

Enough already sort the pensioners out - this is disgusting service.

I am prepared to let this go viral and will name names and details and we are in touch with massive networks out there, maybe the whole of South Africa, regionally and Internationally needs to hear who CEEL C deals with pensioners.

As expected this query has gone cold as the ice in Siberia. I really think it is time to call out the big guns, time to send this query Viral over all networks, friends pages, twitter and a zillion other electronic way, I held back as the I don't think they will survive the viral storm once it is started and I kept trusting they would do the right thing. SABC has picked up the query and is willing to broadcast this as they feel it needs to be sorted out. I think Carte Blanche as well would be good. Last chance CELL C - answer today or we will release the Gods of War.

Promised that this had been escalated - still no answer - I think the whole management team need to be shaken up - this cannot go on.
Also if you ever have the bad luck of speaking to Natasha Soodeyal - don't bother rather hang-up and dial again and ask for someone else. Just saying!!
My advice is take a name and email address with whoever you speak to as you will need it for the follow-up calls for the next 6 months/ year/ two years - and don't be surprised if that person leaves the company and the next 10 people leave the company.
