Shocking lack of customer service Cell C

My husband, Mr Rafal Klisiewicz, passed away on 6 January this year - he was the account holder of a Cell C account, whcih included C Fibre to the home and 2 voicelines.

In January I went into the Cresta Shopping Centre Cell C store with proof of his death - a certified death certificate and certified ID copy with the originals also. I requested that both cell phone lines be canceled with immediate effect, as this was a deceased case.

They told me it would be taken care of. I also emailed Cell CFibre in January and asked them to on ly transfer my late husband's CFibre internet account only over to my name, as I had requested that the 2 voice lines be cancelled. I received confirmation via email after a few weeks that only the Cell C Fibre account had been transferred to my name and that the debit order would come off my personal bank account.

On 28 March Cell C debited me R 1 395.00 instead of R 899.00 for the CellC fibre only, as had originally requested. My huisband was the breadwinner in our home and I cannot afford to have an additional R 495.00 debited from my bank account. I have requested that the R 495.00 be refunded to my bank account immediately, as I have debit orders coming off on 1 April and that the future debit orders be corrected to only R 899.00 just for the Cell C Fibre.

When I have emailed and called to get assistance with the above, I get told that only tyhe Legal department can assist me and they do not get back to me despite all the emails being sent to them.

This is a very serious situation that I have been faced with and very unfair, especially since this is a deceased estate case and should have been handled with immediate priority and care.

I would like someone in the Legal and Accounts Departments to contact me urgently to rectify this mess due to negligence and lack of customer service!

Yours Sincerely,

Lorna Klisiewicz
