SETTLEMENT? NO SUCH THING WITH CELL C!!!!!

After many years using a cell c contract i had finally came to a point where i no longer needed it.

Contacted Cell C for a SETTLEMENT value which i received. I was advised to pay it and call back after 48hrs to confirm it was received. I had done that and then requested a paid up letter which i never received.

A day or two later i received a statement reflecting a balance due!!!!! According to me a settlement amount include ALL Monies owing at the time of request.

I logged a complaint and was told that the initial cancellation call will be revised to asses my complaint only to be told by yet another consultant that that is due to be paid and when i asked her if she had listened to the initial call she said there was no point. i am utterly disgusted at cell c doing people in one after the other!!

i wont pay this amount. and would like feedback
