Service Stops, No Notification

Cell C cut service to my sim card around the middle to the end of June. When I went to the store I was told that this was because somebody else had RICA registered the number before I used it but that I could get it back by obtaining an affidavit explaining my situation.

When I did that and went back to the store, they put me through a simswap procedure which I could not pass as I have not been using that number, firstly, and cannot remember or find the details since it has been so long.

Cell C cut my service without notification, and I thought it would be best to wait a day or two to wait for it to come back, but it never did. People have sent me money through eWallet using that number, and I have app**** to countless jobs using it. It's unacceptable that I have to just let it go.

I called Customer Care and was told that I couldn't receive any help from the consultant unless I "found" the answers to the security questions. How can I do that?

The person on their Facebook page says the same thing. Cell C could have informed me, and failing that, they should have solutions ready because that number is a crucial part of how a person gets things done. It's strange that this gap in their service is not their responsibility, but mine.

Please help
