My son lost his sim card and all we want to do is to do a sim swap. How difficuil could it be. Not at all difficuilt if you using other networks but by cell c its a mission. My wife went to cell c Zevenwacht Mall and there she was told that she must have the last three dialed numbers and i dont know what else. So i took her to Somerset Mall this morning and there we were told that you need an affidavit. Why must she go to a police station to ask them to write on a piece of paper that our son lost his sim card. I lost my phone last year went to telkom and in 2 minutes i had a new sim and it was fully functional. The same thing happened to my other son when we went to MTN. I told my wife not to go to Cell C as i had lots of problems with Cell C.this is very poor service that you must be send from pillar to post just for a sim swap. I understand that you need your ID and proof of address yes because thats all you need by all the other networks to. Also your ID to proof that it is you and proof of address for rica purposses. Cell c is pathetic and theres no way that we will ever do business with Cell C ever again.
