********** Service and UNAUTHORISED Debit Orders
I'm going to give facts of what transpired between myself and Cell C. I've been a customer of Cell C for well over 10years now. The treatment that I've been receiving recently is **********. On 26.06.2023 I advised Cell C that I was ****med out of thousands of Rands. I requested that Cell C flag my account for unauthorised transactions, to prevent any *****ulent actions. 1. On 05.07.2023, 15.07.2023 and 20.07.2023 UNAUTHORISED debit orders was taken from my account. I admit I didn't have any funds due to being ****med out of thousands of Rands and proceeded to make an arrangement for payment, to get my account up to date. 2. On 11.07.2023 I made an agreement to pay my outstanding account via EFT on 25.07.2023. Collections phoned me, are calls really recorded? I never got a case number... 3. on 25.07.2023 I received a total of 21 SMS's within a period of 2minutes as a reminder to make the EFT payment as per arrangement. 4. on 25.07.2023 I phoned Customer care and wanted to know why I received so many SMS's for an agreement I was well aware of. And Secondly, why 3 UNAUTHOIRISED debit orders was submitted against my account. Obviously I had no funds in my account and my account was penalised. My first call was dropped and my second call wasn't very encouraging. Apologies was made by Cell C... 5. As per the arrangement I made an EFT payment as per the agreed amount. 6. Later on 25.07.2023 Cell C AGAIN debited my account which was UNAUTHORISED. 7. Currently, 26.07.2023 - I spoke with a supervisor at customer service (Tshosana) He went through my profile and wasn't able to even get the arrangement I made on my profile. I asked why I would receive the 21 SMS's reminding me, if there was no arrangement on record. Tshosana apologised and supp**** me with a case number to get my refund for the UNAUTHORISED debit on 25.07.2023. Currently, I'm still waiting for my call to be answered. On the voice tone a message is given to email, however, with past experience I KNOW that this email request will no bring joy.

Please clarify the unauthorized transactions to be blocked on your account.
Were you referring to transactions as in not be able to purchase e.g data and minutes or did you also mean the debit order to your bank account from us ?

I never agreed to a total of 4 unauthorised debits from my account. I did advise that I was ****med. With a call from Cell C I agreed that I will make an EFT payment on 25.07.2023. That was the agreement between myself and Cell C.
on 25.07.2023 I made an EFT payment and an another unauthorised debit order was taken from my account.
Why are there so many debit orders from my account when I DIDN'T agree to ANY?
I never agreed to a total of 4 unauthorised debits from my account. I did advise that I was ****med. With a call from Cell C I agreed that I will make an EFT payment on 25.07.2023. That was the agreement between myself and Cell C.
on 25.07.2023 I made an EFT payment and an another unauthorised debit order was taken from my account.
Why are there so many debit orders from my account when I DIDN'T agree to ANY?
