Sending of Statements....... Simple right? Not for Cell C.

Up until last year I had a Cell C Fibre connection, During 2021, Without notifying me at all, Cell C increased my monthly subscription. At first this was not a major issue to me but then Cell C had completely stopped sending me monthly statements for no reason whatsoever. I inquired several times about it , but they never could figure out how to automatically send me a statement again even though they had done so for years before. I had to every month phone the call centre and nag them to email me a statement. After months of this, a poor quality connection and the fact that the increased subscription was a total ******* when compared to other Providers, I decided it was time to leave and get a more efficient Fibre provider. And so I joined a fantastic well priced provider and gone were the days where I had to nag a company simply to tell me how much money I owe them. Or so I thought. This week I start getting sms's and phone calls from obnoxious debt collectors saying Cell C wants their money. Once again Cell C had maintained that I owed them money but could not simply just send me a statement saying so or how much. This final invoice should have been sent to me in October 2021. Had I received it, I would have paid there and then. End of story, But, Due to THEIR inability to provide their customers with statements I get handed over. My experience with this company was nothing but Infuriating and 10 months later they are still giving me grief. I will never do business with them again.
