If you want to subject yourself willingly to severe mental trauma sign a contact with them. Everything they do is irredeemable. Calls that immediately drop frequently. A customer care centre that always cannot hear you and you need to shout to be heard. I have a R375 month contract used for approximately 6-8 months and they want over R7000 as a settlement / cancellation fee. ********s. The cheap Chinese phone broke after a few months. Hardware failure. Data irretrievable. Tried the call centre now and five times the cancellation department played a pre-recorded message saying the service was offline and to kindly try again later. My understanding is Cell C is financially insolvent which comes as no surprise whatsoever. It’s not a sinking ship, it’s already sunk. More fool me for being a customer for over 10 years. I’ll just have to pay them monthly until the contract ends. Who in their right mind would be mentally unfit or dado-masochistic to give these ********s over R7k to get them out of my life.
