Security Check ********

My aunt has been with CellC for a few months on my request.

She currently has the Giga 20 on contract

Recently she has been complaining about internet problems.

Today I took time off to go help her, unfortunately she had already left to visit her grandchildren when I arrived.

After completing my diagnostics, I found nothing wrong with the equipment.

After calling Cell C customer centre, I was denied a request for support because I wasn't the account holder?
In order for us to log a FAULT I need to be the account holder..

If you are too busy / old to remember all the facts, if you work for a big company and dont have access to the right information. Guess what? ***** You.

Why hire technical support staff if you can just block everyone with some random security check.

Whoever thought up that brilliant plan is either very sadistic and / or a complete turd.

I can understand why customers put up billboards to get CellC's attention as clearly they are out of sync with reality.

Hello Angers,

Our consultants have to follow specific business rules when handling customer queries or requests and a security check has to be performed to protect our customers.

In this case, if you want to be able to log a fault on her behalf, your aunt has to give permission to our consultants as the account holder.

We will get one of our consultants to assist.
