Said to be in arrears

I did a check with credit bureau it appears I'm in arrears with Cell C, how? I am totally confused and annoyed. My first installment with cell c is due 30th of May via debit order but it turns out I'm in arrears when their debit order attempt wasn't even unsuccessful.
