RUN when you even see Cell C ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

After being with Cell C from 2012 I am desperately struggling to get rid of them in my life!!!! They have made my life a living hell starting as follows: My debit date was always on the 7th of each month. A week before I was due for an upgrade, which I was looking forward to, my nr. was suspended on 07/02/2021 before my debit order could even go off. I contacted them and only realised that my December 2020 never went off due to the fact that they debited me before 07/01/2021. They told me to pay the balance of the account which was R777 and the number will be reactivated, so I did an immediate EFT, phoned and confirmed they received proof of payment as they requested. By the next day, the account was still not reactivated and in 2 days time I most probably spent about 10hrs on the phone with Cell C, speaking to numerous individuals to try and find a solution. At the end of the day they had informed me that my account was already handed over to Shapir Shakes and Associates. I then contacted Shapir and they could not locate my account and said it should still be with Cell C. Through the course of a few days the account suddenly appeared at Shapir Shakes. Being so distraught over the inhumanely unfair treatment of Cell C towards me in this regard, I just decided to make an arrangement for payment (which I didn't understand what it was for since I paid the balance to Cell C, but only now found out they charged me with a cancellation fee!)...I was exhausted!!! After making a few payments in 2021 (about 6) I was informed by them (never anything from Cell C), that my account was now moved from SSDA to CCS. I googled their details and contacted them to make further arrangements. By November 2022, I used my bonus to settle the account once and for all. I phoned, confirm and repeatedly asked CCS whether everything is now settled and whether they can send me proof to which they agreed and sent me an email with confirmation of final payment received (not a paid up letter which I was not aware I should request). Feeling overjoyed with finally being rid of Cell C and being confident it was for good, I went on with life.... until 03/07/2024 when I received an SMS notification from Nimble notifying me that my Cell C account is overdue and been sold to them for collection!!! Needless to say, I nearly had a coronory 😫😫😵💫🫨😓😓😓😓 I contacted them on 05/07/2024 and they informed me that I still have an outstanding balance of R700+ (which I assume is the amount I initially paid and they never allocated) I explained the whole story from A to Z and the lady asked for a paid up letter. I explained that I never received one and contacted the last attorneys where they then said that I need to get it from Cell C, but they will request it and forward it to me. In the meantime I sent all proof of payments to Nimble and by the 8th, the ticket was closed, and I once again assumed that it was resolved.... until I received another reminder of payment from them today!!!😩😫😩😫😩😫😩 Feeling completely hopeless I decided to phone Cell C anyway to TRY and find out what on earth is going on!! After spending another 3hrs on the phone and to 5 different people, I was eventually advised that only the company where I made my last payment can provide me with a paid up letter, but that my account is still active and Cell C has in fact charged me with R200+ in January 2023 as well as November 2023. 🤯🫨🤯🫨 How??? And for what???!!!! Nobody has been able to answer me as yet, but the opened a ticket in order for the correct Creditor to assist me in the next 48hrs🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I eventually reached a great young man at CCS whom handled my situation with so much care and respect that I couldn't help but get emotional due to the relief, and he ensured me that I will receive a paid up letter before close of business today.🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼 Literally sitting on edge awaiting this traumatic event in my eyes to come to an end🙏🏼🙇🏻♀️ This injustice that has hung over my head due to incompetence at Cell C feels vindictive and I would urge any and all consumers to RUN when it comes to Cell C, in order to save themselves from such depravity of human rights!!!! IF and AFTER this has been resolved I never want to even hear about Cell C ever in my entire life again!! The cherry 🍒 on the top is that they continue to do this because the majority of consumers don't have the funds to take them to court and find justice ⚖️😠😠😠
